Lebanese minister warns against Israel's aggression against Shebaa farms
Lebanon-Israel, Politics, 9/19/2000

Lebanese information minister Anwar al-Khalil has warned against any new Israeli aggression against Shebaa farms and part of Kafer Shoba lands where the Israeli occupation army is trying to annex a new area.

During his meeting with people's delegations in Hasbaya on Monday, al-Khalil added the new-old Israeli violations along the border in kafer Shoba area raise doubts on Israel's aggressive intentions where it works to construct roads and change the borders.

He said that the Israeli army had crossed its redeployment line in 1967 and advanced forward for three kilometers and is working to re-demarcating the border once against without returning back to the UN forces.

He stressed that this issue of the Israeli violations will be raised on highest levels and should be dealt with by the UN security council so as to deter Israel from making border demarcation.
