Italian embassy gives equipment to Moroccan traditional fishermen

Italy's embassy in Rabat will give out this Monday a batch of navigation, communication, fishing and medical equipment to Moroccan traditional fishermen of the north-eastern town of Cala Iris.
The donation, a joint initiative by the Moroccan fisheries office and Italian Ngo "Centro Mondialite Sviluppo Reciproco," is worth 543,707 Dirham (US $ 49,427).
Cooperation between the Moroccan fisheries office and the Italian NGO, started in 1988, means to contribute to efforts to improve living and work conditions of traditional fishermen and introduce new fishing techniques.
