Gaddafi is to visit Jordan on coming Wednesday
Jordan-Libya, Politics, 9/18/2000

Libyan President Moammar El Gaddafi is to begin a few days visit to Jordan the day after tomorrow during which he is going to meet king Abdullah II of Jordan to discuss the different International and Arab causes as well as the bilateral ties between the two states.

The Jordanian - Libyan relations are witnessing a remarkable progress especially in the water field as it is expected that Libya will present technical and financial support for a Jordanian water project that will be named 'El Dissi' whose costs are nearly 650 million dollars.

On the other hand, Abd El Hadi El Magali, head of the Jordanian parliament assured that "the Jordanians of a Palestinian origin and some Jordanian fronts are exposed to racism," clarifying that the racism is taking place socially and not by law or due to a policy by the Jordanian state by excluding Palestinian assets from some jobs and business, referring that this also takes place for those who belong to the Muslim brothers movement and the communist parties.
