A Libyan- Tunisian initiative to revive al-Maghreb federation

The secretary of the people's general conference in Libya Suleiman al-Shahoumi has announced a Libyan- Tunisian initiative to revitalize the Arab Maghreb Union. He added that the coming days will witness the convening of the four ministerial councils and the specialized ministerial councils for revitalizing the structures of the al-Maghreb federation.

Al-Shahoumi who also presides over al-Maghreb Shoura council added that the al-Maghreb federation is not a rival nor a substitute for the African federation, nor for the countries involved in the alliance of the coastal and desert states.
