Euromoney conference to be held annually in Egypt

Richard Anser, Managing Director of Euromoney Corporation, stressed the success of the Euromoney Conference in delivering the message of the Egyptian government and the progress of the Egyptian economy to investment and business circles worldwide. "Euromoney's keenness on holding such conference on regular basis in Egypt depends on many factors, most important of which is the increasing importance of the emerging Egyptian market" added Mr. Anser.

On his part, Mr. Mohamed Shafik Gabr, President of the Egyptian Economic Forum (EEF), said that the EEF is interested in participating with Euromoney to capitalize on holding the conference on an annual basis to attract world investors to and make them closely acquainted with the positive developments of the Egyptian market. "Besides, the Egyptian government will be able to convey its orientation and give the Egyptian businessmen and investors the chance to find international partners as well as required funding from specialized regional and international financial institutions" added Gabr.

"The Conference came up with positive results; first of which is the participation of 1300 businessmen from 37 Arab, European and Asian countries in addition to the USA. Accordingly, this conference is one of the largest economic conferences worldwide and the sole regional conference to be held in Cairo on regular basis. Sure, these facts reflect the importance of the promising Egyptian market and its ability to surmount any casual crisis" said Gabr.

"The experts of World Bank and the International Monetary Fund as well as international institutions who took part in the Conference affirmed that the Egyptian economy is achieving a new breakthrough and big growth" noted Gabr.
