A weak Palestinian optimism concerning the U.S endeavors

Nabeel Amr, minister of parliamentary affairs in the Palestinian national authority, assured that the optimism on the Palestinian side is very weak toward the negotiations taking place in New York despite of its significance.
He emphasized the importance of the U.S role and the direct interference by US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and her assistants as well the U.S President Bill Clinton, referring to that this interference is considered very important, saying that if things kept going the way they are currently, then optimism would be very small, referring to that focusing on the case of the holy mosque in Jerusalem and its significance should not overlook the other issues whose solutions are still far from reaching.
He pointed out that evaluating the position in Middle East without having progress which will lead to bad results, clarifying that all the formulas which were discussed since Camp David summit until now were not agreed upon, referring to the necessity of having a new formula by U.S.A to deal with international legitimacy.
