Work on implementing Egyptian - Jordanian agreements begins in Amman

Meetings of the follow-up committee for implementing the Egyptian agreements began today in Amman in which the Egyptian side is headed by the first under secretary of the international cooperation ministry Ali Salman while the Jordanian side is headed by the secretary general of the trade and industry ministry Mohammed Samer El-Taweel.

The report of the meetings if to be ratified by Ahmed El-Dosh, the Egyptian minister of planning and international cooperation who is arriving tomorrow in Jordan on a 3-day visit, and Wasef Azer the Jordanian trade and industry minister.

Ali Salman said that "a comprehensive evaluation for stopping carrying out the decisions of the 16th session for the joint supreme committee that was held in Cairo in last February in Cairo under the chairmanship of the 2 countries ministers" especially concerning studying applying rules of the free handling of trade and increasing the trade volume.

The committee will also discuss positions of the Egyptian labor in Jordan and setting dates for convening the joint subcommittees to encourage the investment and the cooperation committee in the planning field.
