Former Israeli head of Jerusalem municipality supports dividing the Holly City

The former head of Jerusalem municipality Tedy Kolik expressed his support for dividing the Holly City between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
Kolik who assumed the city's affairs for 25 years said in declaration to the Israeli newspaper Yadiot Ahranot that was published yesterday - that "we cannot miss the available historical chance to establish peace because of the dispute over Jerusalem, adding that we will agree on establishing 2 cities in Jerusalem one of which is Israeli while the other is Palestinian."
Kolik who was elected in 1965 remained a head of western Jerusalem's municipality till 1993.
