Somali president asks opposition to give up weapons

Abdi El-Kasem Salad Hasan, the Somali president asked the Somali factions to turn over their weapons to the police.
The Somali capital Makdishu is witnessing a critical transitional stage following the assumption of the temporary governmental security committee that was formed by the Somali president. The committee works on removing the militias' weapons.
The security committee is headed by general Mohammed Nour Galal. Galal was the defense deputy minister in the time of former president Mohammed Seiad Verri.
The committee comprises 5 other officers among whom is "general Geleo' of the Somali intelligence in the former government.
'Makdishu' is living now in tense due to attempts of leaders of the opposition factions for new government to obstruct her mission through practicing works to show that the capital is suffering chaos by implementing cars and commercial shops robbery and others which led to paralyzing the general transportation movement among Makdishu's districts.
