Head of the Jordanian parliament: Jerusalem is not for bargain

Head of the Jordanian parliament Abd El-Hadi El-Majali emphasized on the necessity of the Palestinian -Egyptian - Jordanian coordination in this important stage concerning the peace process.

El-Majali said "Jerusalem is not for bargain and that the area is at a cross point so either there will be a just peace or the area will remain in disorders and the Israelis are free to choose what they want."

He clarified that the current visit of king Abdu Allah II to Canada comes in the framework of the Arab move to explain the Arab stance that is based on the international legitimacy resolutions and confirming that the Arabs want a just peace.

He emphasized on the necessity of convening an Arab summit to discuss the current challenges, expressing his hope that the U.S President Bill Clinton would be able during the coming weeks to reach the aspired peace in the area, emphasizing on the necessity of giving Arab support for the Palestinian negotiator.
