Spanish skin-heads kill Moroccan man in Barcelona

A young Moroccan was shot dead Sunday in Barcelona (Spain) by a group of skin-heads.

According to eye-witnesses, a skin-head shot the 27-year old Moroccan in the head after a short argument in front of a cafe. The man died in hospital.

The association of Moroccan Immigrants in Spain (ATIME), condemned the assassination which adds up to the one committed last July 15 against another Moroccan in a locality near Barcelona. For the association, the crime confirms that Moroccans have become the target of the criminal gangs.

ATIME, which recalls other racist incidents in the last months in several Spanish regions calls Spanish authorities to enforce the law with diligence and rigor against those responsible for the crime and urges democratic and political forces to clearly express their refusal and condemnation of this type of acts.

It is certain, says ATIME, that the (Spanish) rule of law will not tolerate an ideological concept based on hatred.
