Afro-Arab parliamentary conference in Tunis

The Arab-Afro parliament conference held this Sept.12-14 in Tunis. Legislators from 50 Arab and African parliaments are looking into world political, economic and social conditions and their impact on national and regional policies in Arab and African countries, says a statement of the House. The three-day conference also features topics related to Arab-African cooperation in using natural resources and the setting up of a channel to ease communication between Arab and African parliaments.
The Afro-Arab parliamentary dialogue was set up in Tunis in 1984.
