Arab League foreign ministers meet in New York

The Arab group at the United Nations in New York on Monday at the World body head office held a meeting of its foreign ministers. The meeting, held behind closed doors, dealt with coordination of Arab stances on various items on the agenda of the 55th UN general assembly. The foreign ministers also examines means to follow up decisions adopted by the Arab League ministers council and Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Committee regarding the Middle East peace process and Arab candidacies to various UN bodies.
