News about threats to Kuwaiti delegation in Millenium summit

The Kuwaiti Watan newspaper revealed yesterday that the Kuwaiti delegation who participated in the Millenium summit received serious threats from unknown persons due to which the U.S intelligence had to take unusual procedures to protect members of the Kuwaiti delegation who was headed by the foreign minister Sheik Sabah El-Ahmed El-Sabah.
The newspaper did not determine the sources of the threat and that it has quoted the news as members of the Kuwaiti delegation assuring that the threats came from related sides to the Iraqi government.
The newspaper underestimated the seriousness of these threats and depicted it of being insignificant that serve Iraq's purposes.
