US, British delegation meet with Lebanese officials

Lebanese prime minister Salim al-Hoss on Friday in Beirut discussed with a British parliamentary delegation latest developments on the Lebanese arena and the Middle East region.

The British ambassador to Lebanon David Maklinin, who attended the meeting said the visit of the delegation which represents the three main British parties aim at exploring conditions in the region and to the question of the Palestinian refugees in the countries neighboring Israel. He noted that the visit of the delegation to Beirut falls in the course of its tour on the region to discuss this issue.

Meantime, the speaker of the Lebanese parliament Nabih Berri on Friday met with the US charge de affairs in Lebanon David Hail.

The two sides reviewed matters relating to the donor states and development aids to South Lebanon given either by social commissions and international organizations or directly through the donor states.
