Lahoud - al-Assad summit in the second half of September

The Lebanese daily al- Nahar said today that a Syrian- Lebanese summit between President Emil Lahoud and President Bashar al-Assad will be held in the second half of this month in damascus. This summit is of special importance for two reasons: the first is that the first between the two presidents after al-Assad assumed his presidential tasks and the second is that it comes after the Parliamentary elections and the new phase in Lebanon.
