Rabat hosts 2nd Euro-Mediterranean conference on audio-visual media

The 2nd Euro-Mediterranean conference of audio-visual media will be held this Sept.14-15 in Rabat.

Organizers say the encounter is meant to be an adequate framework for a genuine partnership between countries bordering on the Mediterranean. It will also offer the opportunity to define structural and organizational data to contribute to the promotion of this partnership by conducting an exhaustive study of data and statistics related to the audio-visual media sector in 27 Mediterranean countries.

In addition to the conference, three workshops will debate structural and regulatory organization and market assessment in the region.

The first Euro-Mediterranean conference of audio-visual media was held in Greece in 1997.
