Egypt and Bahrain renew backing for Syria

Egypt and Qatar have renewed their full backing to Syria ' s stand and right to restoring back the whole of the Golan at a time when the secretary general of the Arab league AL. Ismat Abdul Miguid said the Arab foreign ministers will hold a meeting on the sideline of the Millennium summit in New York to discuss the possibility of finding out a permanent seat for the Arab states if the UN Security Council membership will be expanded.
Abdul Miguid announced that there is an Arab move on the international arena to collect international backing for the unwavering Arab stand concerning the requirements of a just and comprehensive peace, based on international legitimacy resolutions.
Meantime, President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa have stressed their backing to the Syrian just demands on Israel's withdrawal from the Golan up to June 4, 1967 and the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
In a round of talks they held in Alexandria on Wednesday, the two sides called for the implementation of UN security council resolutions 242 and 338 to reach a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
Hey stressed rejection to the Israeli attempt to violate international legitimacy resolutions.
President Mubarak and Sheikh Hamad stressed the need to strengthen Arab solidarity and for good preparations for the summit in the service of the Arab nation's interests.
