Emir of Bahrain offers condolences over Airbus victims

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak receives today in Alexandria Emir of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad Ben Isa Al-Khalifa on his arrival to Egypt on a one day visit. The visit comes within the framework of a several-leg tour that will take the Bahraini Emir to a number of European countries. High on the agenda of talks between President Hosni Mubarak and Sheikh Hamad Ben Isa are issues relating to the situation in the Arab states and means of beefing up relations between the two states.
According to Egyptian Ambassador in Manama, Mohammed Abbas, the visit is also meant to extend Emir of Bahrain's condolences over the death of Egyptian victims on board Gulf Airbus three weeks ago.
