Consultations for choosing members of Shura council in Bahrain

Bahrain is currently witnessing consultations and preparations for choosing members of the new Shura council so that prince of Bahrain would issue decrees of appointing them in coming September.

The coming council will be the last Shura (consultation) council in Bahrain to be formed through the appointment as Manama said in last June that the council of 2004 will be formed through the direct election and with the women's participation and that the governmental fronts will make during the council's assumption to the power - the laws upon which the coming elections will be made.

Informed political sources said 'the new appointed council will comprise some young members in addition to nearly 10 women.
