Discussing establishing a land road between Morocco and Mauritania

Bu Omran Taghwan, the Moroccan minister of the preparations arrived yesterday at Nouakchott in a visit to Mauritania whose period was not said.

Moroccan diplomatic sources referred that the Moroccan minister will inform the Mauritania President Moawia Walad Sidi Ahmed El-Taie with the existing preparations for financing a road project to link the two states as with the experts' meetings which Morocco hosted in lasted week.

He clarified that the Moroccan minister whose country finances a study for a road project of 103 million dollars will study with the Mauritanian officials means of specifying 70 million dollars which are the total cost of the road project which extends longer than 500 kilometers which is the separate distance between the Mauritanian capital and Nowazebo city adjacent to Morocco.
