Somalia to take part in Arab foreign ministers council

The assistant secretary general of the Arab League AL for inter-Arab affairs Ahmad Bin Hali announced on Tuesday that a delegation representing the new provisional Somali government will participate for the first time in the meetings of the council of the Arab foreign ministers due to be held next Sunday and Monday.

In Press statements he made on Tuesday Bin Hali said there is a draft project to back the new Somali government submitted by Djibouti, Somalia and the Arab League including practical measures in that the Arab states will give financial, material and political backing to this new Somali government.

Bin Hali expressed his regret over the new Somali victims in the battles which took place in Makadishu between various Somali warring factions. He called on all groups which refuse to form the new government to join the train of the Somali reconciliation and the new government.
