Israel admits discrimination against the Arabs

An Israeli judicial source said on Friday that the Israeli supreme court admitted that the Arab minority in Israel suffers discrimination and sentenced the state of Israel to pay US$ 5 millions as costs for resuming a case filed by an Arab- Israeli society.
In its decision which was issued on Thursday at the request of an Arab follow up committee for education affairs, the court stressed that the Israeli - Arab citizens, who represent 18% of the total Israeli population, has received very small portion of aids from the Israeli government in comparison to their percentage in the society.
