Prep meeting of donor countries for reconstructing south Lebanon

Lebanon is resuming the preparations for convening the first meeting of the donor countries to ensure the aids for reconstructing the liberated areas in south Lebanon that are determined at the end of July, where Lebanon will deliver France's consent on the participation at a time in which the Lebanese President Emil Lahud emphasized on the necessity of cooperation between the government and the private sector.

Salim al-Hoss, the Lebanese Prime Minister addressed invitations to heads of 40 Arab and foreign diplomatic missions in which he asked their countries participation in the first meeting of the donor countries on 26th and 27th of the current month and he also addressed similar messages to the Arab League, to the international bank, to the European union, the European bank for investment and the Islamic development bank.

The conference, that will be named "the conference of donor organizations and countries for developing and reconstructing Lebanon," will focus on the liberated areas, the urgent needs, the 5 fold developing plan, the 5-fold plan for the south and the 5 fold plan for developing and reconstructing Lebanon.

The first day will be specified for the participants' visit to many areas in the south to see the positions there while the second day will be discussing the project that will be raised.
