Arab parties and Camp David negotiations
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 7/21/2000

The General secretariat of the conference of the Arab parties has described the Camp David negotiations between the Israeli and Palestinian sides as futile negotiations, calling on the Palestinian delegation to get out of the vicious circle of these negotiations.

In a statement issued in Amman on Thursday, the general secretariat called for standing with the Palestinian people in confrontation of the Israeli stubbornness. It added no body has the right to violate Jerusalem because it is the property for both the Arab and Islamic nations.

The statement stressed that the right of the Palestinians to return back is sacred and should not be violated and that keeping the settlements and "permitting the enemy to share us our waters and control the borders, the crossings and the airspace, all make the occupation perpetuated and make of the Palestinian state a mere emptied entity ."
