President al-Assad to make an Arab tour

The Lebanese daily al-Nahar expected in its Wednesday issue in a report that President Bashar al-Assad will visit Lebanon after few weeks within the course of a quick Arab tour that will lead him to Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain and may be other Arab states.
The paper noted that this visit will definitely put an end to the prevailing conception that any Syrian President would not visit Lebanon in order not to recognize its national supremacy and its independence from Syria.
The paper added that the visit of President Bashar al-Assad to Syria will open a new page of Lebanese - Syrian relations and will give the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud a new chance to assure the confidence and trust of the Syrian President in the Lebanese rule.
