Bahrain projects to cancel visa requirements for Moroccans, daily

Bahrain is projecting to cancel entry visa requirements for Moroccans, reported this Wednesday Moroccan Assabah daily, MAP reported.

In a correspondence from Bahrain, the daily's special envoy and editor in chief, Talha Jebril, said the move will be examined during the visit Emir of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad Ben Issa Al-Khalifa, is to pay to Morocco at the invitation of King Mohammed VI, from July 26 to the festivities marking Throne Day. Throne Day will be celebrated on July 30.

The daily said Bahrain will be the first member of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to envisage the visa measures cancellation.

The GCC musters besides Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
