Tarek Aziz visits Moscow in coming week

Tareq Aziz the Iraqi deputy prime minister is to head to Moscow in coming week to meet the Russian president Vladimir Putin to discuss the bilateral relations and the possibilities of lifting up the international sanctions on Iraq or easing it.
An Iraqi diplomatic sources said that Aziz's visit to Russia and his meeting with the Russian president assures Russia's concern with Iraq and its insistence on working on lifting up the sanctions on the Iraqi people.
The diplomat clarified that the two sides will discuss coordinating the stance in the United Nations Security Council, referring that Iraq will discuss with Russia issues related to Iraq's consent on receiving a UN weapons monitoring committee in return for an international pledge to end the sanctions partially and keeping the condition that Iraq must implement its commitments according to the resolutions of the UN Security to Council.
