Iraq and Qatar study reviving joint committee

Iraq is currently making communications with Qatar to revive the joint committee between them which froze its activities following the Iraqi invasion to Kuwait.
In a new step, Sheik Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani of Qatar congratulated the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein with the anniversary of the national day.
Iraqi sources said that some Qatari companies opened branches in Baghdad either in the framework of the bilateral cooperation or with a U.N understanding note, clarifying that these companies sent delegations to study the feasibility of exporting Qatari products to Iraq.
