Egyptian - European Partnership issue placed before the public

The Egyptian Ministerial economic group, chaired by Prime Minister Atef Ebeid, held a meeting on means of implementing directives of President Hosni Mubarak of the necessity of acquainting the public opinion with all the provisions of the Egyptian-European Partnership.

"Five thousand copies of the agreement will be available for the press, universities, political parties and scientific research centers," Ebeid said.

He added the meeting also reviewed the monthly report of the Egyptian economy, to be issued on Wednesday including 14 economic indicators which cover imports, exports, inflation rate, budget deficit, trade balance and others. "This report will be submitted to President Hosni Mubarak," Ebeid said.

"The Prime Minister elaborated that the meeting also dwelt on ways to develop available data on labour, manpower, labor market and unemployment.
