Royal Messages On Sahara Delivered Worldwide

Moroccan Ministers and royal emissaries are touring several capitals to hand messages from King Mohammed VI to heads of states shedding light on latest developments in the Maghreb region and reviewing bilateral cooperation.
Minister of Social development, solidarity, employment and vocational training, Khalid Alioua, was received in Windhoek by Namibian president Sam Nijoma whom he briefed on regional developments.
He renewed Morocco's attachment to international legality and to the implementation of the United Nations settlement plan for the Sahara without delay.
Alioua-- who had visited Mali earlier on a similar assignment-- renewed the kingdom's pledge to abide by international legality regarding all pending issues, expressing hope that all African countries would adopt the same stand.
The president of Namibia voiced hope that the African continent would overcome its difficulties to address the development process.
Talks also covered means of enhancing Moroccan-Namibian relations and of improving the situation in Africa, mainly in northern Namibia following the latest developments in Angola.
In Ottawa, minister in charge of human rights, Mohamed Aujjar, met Canadian Deputy-Premier, Herbert Gray, and handed him a message from King Mohammed VI to the Canadian Prime Minister.
The two sides exchanged standpoints on regional issues with a special emphasis on the evolution of the situation in the Maghreb.
The Canadian Deputy-Premier hailed the democratization process underway in Morocco that seeks to consolidate the rule of law, democracy and public freedoms.
The Moroccan official made a trip to the Netherlands on a similar mission and handed to Dutch foreign minister, Van Aardsen, a message from King Mohammed VI to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
Other Royal emissaries, on similar assignments, visited Tunisia, Jamaica, the United States, Argentina, and Ukraine.
