Highest temperatures in Kuwait

Temperatures registered in Kuwait on Sunday broke the record as it reached 51 degrees in shadow, representing a three degrees increase from the annual average.
Stations observer at the Kuwaiti metrology Issa Ramadan speculated in a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Qabas that this increase in temperatures is a result of the advancement of the Indian seasonal air pressure and the move of the warm air mass which comes from the Southern Sahara, besides the impact of the North western winds which are very dry.
Ramadan added that these climatic conditions will continue until the end of the current month July with another increase in temperatures during the few coming days coupled with continued dry and heated poisonous winds.
