Palestinian delegation to visit Syria

The Jordanian weekly al-Majd said that a delegation including 40 figures representing the Palestinian Arabs of 1948 will head today for Damascus to take part in the eulogy to be held in al-Qerdaha on the 40-day following the death of the late President Hafez al-Assad.
The paper said that the Palestinian intellectual Dr. Azmi Beshara will preside over the delegation which will include politicians, intellectuals and journalists.
