New flights between Israel and Jordan

The director general of the Jordanian civil aviation authority Captain Jihad Arsheed has announced that the Israeli Arkia aviation company will start 10 weekly flights between Amman and Tel Aviv as from the beginning of August.
In a statement Arsheed said that starting the flights comes in the course of the transport agreement between Jordan and Israel, noting that the Jordanian royal airlines currently have nine weekly flights between Amman and Tel Aviv in addition to other weekly flights between Amman and Haifa, in accordance with the said agreement.
Captain Arsheed said that the Israeli al-Al airlines company has a station director in Amman and that Arkia company will organize these flights to Queen Alia international airport, besides the Israeli al-Al company.
