Israel and the Organization of African Unity decision
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 7/17/2000
The assistant director general of the Israeli foreign ministry, who is in charge of the African affairs Ibrahim Tolido said in a press conference in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday that the decision taken by the 36th Summit of the Organization of African Unity OAU held in Lome on July 10 through 12 on the cause of Palestine, which usually criticizes Israel, has not in this recent meeting adopted a decision condemning the freezing of Israeli- Palestinian negotiations.
Tolido added that the decision of the 36th summit also indicates the satisfaction of the participants over the progress in the negotiations held between the two sides.
