Gulf states officials to discuss regional issues in Washington

Gulf sources assured that officials from the foreign ministries in the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the U.S State department will convene for two days in Washington on July 27 at the level of the assistant foreign ministers with their U.S counterparts. The sources added that the meeting will tackle the development of the Iranian - gulf relations and the status in Iraq as well as the peace process.
The sources said that the meeting comes as a periodic political discussion that takes place every year and that opinions will be exchanged concerning the current issues in the gulf area and the region as well as international issues of joint concern
