India denies nuclear cooperation with Israel
Israel-India, Politics, 7/17/2000
The Indian embassy in Damascus on Sunday denied Israeli press news which claimed that there is a nuclear cooperation between Israel and India and stressed that statements attributed to the Indian minister of the Interior on such a cooperation are groundless.
In a statement circulated to the Syrian papers and news agency SANA, the Indian embassy in Damascus added there is not any cooperation between India and Israel in the nuclear area, besides there is no proposal on nuclear cooperation between the two sides.
The statements stressed that the statements which quote the Indian minister of the Interior during his visit to Tel Aviv were leaked by the Israeli mass media un-precisely.
