Egypt-South Africa trade, investment vistas enhanced

Egypt's Foreign Minister Amr Moussa on Friday said he will hand to South Africa's President Thabo Mbeki a message from President Hosni Mubarak during his three-day visit to South Africa, due to start Wednesday.
During the visit, Moussa will lead the Egyptian delegation to the meetings of the joint Egyptian-South African committee with the aim of revising bilateral trade and investment relations.
In this regard, Moussa said a delegation, including businessmen, will accompany him to resume the previous contacts made between the private sectors of both countries, adding that the two sides aim at enhancing trade cooperation.
Moussa also said his visit to Swaziland, which is to precede that of South Africa, is a part of reinforcing economic cooperation between Egypt and Swaziland, referring to the fact that King Mswati III of Swaziland is leading the economic reform in his country.
Moussa leaves Cairo Monday to Swaziland at the head of a delegation of Egyptian businessmen also comprising Minister of Electricity Ali A1-Saidi, Social Fund for Development (SFD) Chief Hussein Al-Gammal and a number of researchers in the fields of information technology (IT) and scientific research. He said a number of agreements will be signed between Egypt and Swaziland in various fields of cooperation.
