Royal messages on sahara delivered worldwide

Ministers and royal emissaries are touring several capitals to hand messages from King Mohammed VI to heads of states shedding light on latest developments in the Maghreb region and reviewing bilateral cooperation.
Social development, solidarity, employment and vocational training minister Khalid Alioua was received Friday in Bamako by Malian president Alpha Oumar Konare whom he briefed on regional developments and renewed the Moroccan stand calling for the implementation of the United Nations settlement plan for the Sahara without delay.
The president of Mali, a member of the UN security council, hailed the royal move stemming from a tradition of dialog and concertation between the two countries saying Bamako will go on upholding international legality.
In Tunis, national education minister Moulay Ismail Alaoui met Thursday president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali whom he handed a written message from the Moroccan sovereign dealing with regional, continental and Islamic issues.
Alaoui told the press his talks with the head of state covered the Arab Maghreb Union adding president Ben Ali has opened new prospects for the construction and strengthening of the Maghreban process.
Ambassador in charge of coordination with MINURSO Mohamed Loulichki met the same day in Kiev by Vladimir Latvine, the first adviser to the president and head of the presidential administration of Ukraine.
Latvine stressed the importance his country grants cooperation with the Kingdom given, he said, its special standing in the Arab world and African continent. He hailed the royal decision to appoint an ambassador in Kiev and said the setting up of a legal frame for procedures and requirements to enhance cooperation is necessary.
Of the Moroccan territorial integrity issue, the Ukrainian official said his country has always called for the settlement of the issue in accordance with resolutions by the UN Security Council.
Other Royal emissaries, on similar assignments, visited Jamaica, the United States and Argentina.
