45,000 Egyptian scientists immigrate in 50 years

A study by the Egyptian scientific research academy assured that 45,000 Egyptian scientists had immigrated to different countries in the last 50 years among whom are 600 in rare specializations and among whom are 94 scientists in the nuclear engineering field, 26 in the nuclear physics, 48 in chemistry, 25 in astronomy and space, 28 in biology, 72 in laser usage and 93 in the programs and electronics field.

The study also referred to the immigration Egyptian scientists in medicine, genetics, texture technology, roads, bridges, water dams and earthquakes, referring to a set of the recent international reports that speaks of the existence of active efforts by the industrial countries to attract this talent especially from the developing countries topped by Egypt and India.
