King Abdullah confers with Israeli army chief of staff

King Abdullah II of Jordan on Tuesday in Amman met with the Israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Moufaz.

During the meeting, the Jordanian King underlined the importance that Camp David meeting will conclude results that will serve peace and stability in the region.

The Jordanian King explained that the security and stability in the region requires the mobilization of the efforts of the peace- loving forces, in being necessary to maintain prosperity aspired by all peoples of the region.

Meantime, the Jordanian army chief of staff lt. Gen. Muhammad Youssef al-Malakawi on Tuesday in Amman discussed with Moufaz issued of mutual concern and conditions in the region, in general.

Present at the meeting were the deputy chief of staff of the Jordanian army, the commander of the Royal airforce and the assistant for the intelligence general commission.
