Euro-Mediterranean seminar on competitiveness

A Euro-Mediterranean seminar on "competitiveness law and policies" will be held this July 18-19 in Casablanca.

Organized by the Moroccan department of the government general affairs in cooperation with the UN Conference on Trade And Development, the meeting will look into the law text N°.06/99 on price liberalization and competitiveness and ways to associate the different components of the society to the implementation of this law.

The seminar, which will be attended by specialists in competitiveness laws and practices from the Arab Maghreb, the US, Europe, Africa and Middle East, is also meant to exchange experiences in this field, to disseminate a competitiveness culture and promote cooperation between the region's competitiveness bodies within the prospect of the 4th UN conference on revision of the competitiveness-related principles and rules scheduled for September 25-29.
