Cabinet reshuffle in Sudan

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Monday made a ministerial reshuffle that covered several ministries after two ministers had resigned to join the people's national congress, led by Hassan al-Turabi.
The minister for the Cabinet affairs Abdullah Hassan Ahmad and the minister of agriculture al-Haj Youssef Adams resigned on June 27 to join the new party established by al-Turabi following the separation between al-Bashir and al-Turabi.
According to a presidential decree announced by the TV, al-Bashir appointed Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahman Surr al-Khatem, who was former defense minister in the post of the minister for the cabinet affairs and Hamid Mousa Kasha as a minister of agriculture. Al-Bashir also appointed the former minister for the presidency affairs lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Saleh as a minister of defense, while Abdul Hadi Abdullah who was the minister of the interior was appointed as the chairman of the interior security forces.
Abdul Hadi Abdullah was appointed instead of Lt. Gen..Abdul Rahim Muhammad Hussein who has become the minister for presidential affairs.
Former minister of aviation was appointed instead of Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahim Muhammad Hussein who has become the minister for presidential affairs.
Former minister of aviation Ibrahim Suleiman was appointed as the minister for the federal government in succession for Ahmad Ibrahim al-Taher who was appointed as an advisor for the negotiation affairs with the opposition.
Shamboul Adlan was appointed as a minister for aviation after he served as the chairman of the civil aviation commission. The last ministerial reshuffle was on January 24.
