Kuwait ratifies border agreement with Saudi Arabia

The Kuwaiti Cabinet on Sunday approved the agreement on border demarcation between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia signed between the two sides just one week ago.
Kuwait's minister of state for the cabinet affairs Muhammad Deif Allah Sharar said the " cabinet has approved the draft law concerning approval of the agreement between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia concerning the area adjoining the district shared between the two countries and submitted this draft law to the nation's council " Parliament."
It is expected that the Kuwaiti nation's council will study this agreement before it will ratify it in its next session.
Last Sunday, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia reached an agreement on border demarcation in the continental rift in the gas and oil-rich al- Darra field.
