Mubarak meets Arafat and Barak in Alexandria before Camp David summit

A statement released by the Iraqi opposition communist party said that the Iraqi president made a vast cleansing campaign in the lines of the leadership of the Iraqi ruling Baath party. This campaign included the expulsion of more than 100 officials who were accused of corruption and inefficiency. The statement said that ranks of other officials were reduced because of kinship ties they have with members in opposition organizations.
