Funds for throne day festivities will go to the poor

Funds usually earmarked for the Throne Day festivities will be used this year to help poor social layers in accordance with the instructions of King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan interior minister announced on Friday. The move is meant to institute an action of structural social solidarity, Ahmed Midaoui told the Moroccan second tv channel 2M.
Morocco will mark on July 30 the first anniversary of the enthronement of King Mohammed VI.
