Bashir promises extending a petroleum pipeline from Khartoum to Ethiopia

The Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir promised extending a petroleum pipeline from Khartoum to Kadaref governorate then to the Ethiopia and that exporting petroleum to Ethiopia will be in exchange for electricity for Kadaref governorate. He also promised extending the railway system till the Ethiopian city of Matama.
El-Bashir said that he is preparing a political development program that will include all the Sudanese people and promised specifying agricultural and industrial projects for the youths, women and productive families.
The relations between the two countries have been improving lately as Ethiopian prime minister Meles Zenawi visited Khartoum and held prolonged talks with the Sudanese president and he visited the new petroleum refinery in Khartoum.
