Morocco, Tunisia agree to implement fisheries program

Morocco and Tunisia agreed to implement a fisheries cooperation program for the year 2000-2001.
An accord was concluded in this connection at the end of a meeting of the two states sectoral commission of fisheries.
Under the accord, the two sides pledge to give a new impetus to bilateral cooperation in matters of training, partnership, fisheries products marketing and scientific research.
The accord was initialled by Moroccan fisheries minister, Thami Khyari, and Tunisian agriculture minister, Sadok Rabeh.
The commission's meeting helped identify certain joint projects dealing mainly with fish and sea food processing industry.
