Baghdad negates U.S accusations
Iraq-USA, Politics, 7/6/2000
Iraq negated yesterday accusations of U.S officials quoted by the New York Times as saying last Saturday that Iraq resumed its armament program and tested a short ranged missiles. In its comment, the Iraqi news agency considered that this information is ridiculous and a proof on the disappointment of the U.S administration.
The agency wondered about the reasons for U.S silence on Iranian experiments concerning its missiles and condemned its double standard on issues of armament.
