Palestine-Israel, Politics, 7/5/2000

A member of the Israeli Knesset explained that the Palestinians are using the same tactics that the Israelis use in preventing Palestinians from standing by their views during the ongoing negotiations.

Azmi Beshara, member of the Israeli Knesset lessened the Israeli threats toward the decision of the Palestinian Central Council for declaring their independent state in September clarifying that Israel previously used threats several times in an attempt to prevent the Palestinian people from adhering to their position, adding that the Palestinian decision is an attempt to face a crisis with a crisis and that Israel will seek a radical solution for this crisis.
